Default Hersheys Mexican candy

I am wondering if anyone else has notice a drop in quality of Hersheys candy since it moved to Mexico.
I haven't had any peanut butter cups in quite some time and I recently picked up a bag by accident while in WallyMart.
First I noticed the peanut butter showing thru on the top on several, and/or the coverage on the top very sloppy. The chocolate wasn't as shiny and creamy as it used to be. It was rather dull and a bit dry. The filling didn't seem to be as peanut buttery as it was. I was obligate to eat the entire bag in order to make a fair judgement...alas quality was poor thru out.
Obviously they are not what they use to be when made locally.....anyone else notice this.??

I used to love peanut butter cups but they took a huge dip in quality long before Hershey moved. As you said the peanut butter dried up and they weren't as creamy. I still eat the chocolate bars and have no problem. Of course you might have bought an old bag lol and of course they were still of good enough quality to eat the whole bag.

LOL, sometimes scientific study requires a little sacrifice. Eating a sack of bad chocolate is a small price to pay to keep the American public safe from inferior sweets.
Thank you for your service, Mushy.

Check out the article from Amador County I just posted in this thread. It mentions Hershey being now made in Mexico.

My Pennsylvania ancestors are turning over in their graves on that one!

I bought them at WallyMart so I thought since they buy and sell in such volume they must be fairly new.....I also ate a whole bage of kit kat and baby ruths just to make a fair comparison....they were good but the quality of the assembly of the kit kat was a little off.

Just one of the many sacrifices I make for my country.

You're a true patriot, Mushy. Not many would expose themselves to that kind of torture, even for the good of all Americans.

They haven't ruined Butterfingers too, have they. If you haven't checked yet,, that's todays mission. A full report is due no later than 1800 hrs.

He's either AWOL or he's been captured by the Mexican Candy Cartel. I hope it's the former, I've heard what those other guys do to confection spies.
