Either way Sonora has had a bad reputation for years for prejudice, at least on this side of the river and it isn't just me saying it. There are a couple of people right here on this board whom I know agree as I have had conversations with them about it.
Calaveras county is much the same way just on a smaller scale I don't have a problem admitting it and I damned sure aint leaving lol. Y'all have more sand over there for folks to bury their heads in if so inclined.
